Testing Enviornment

Before you start the process of adding the Widget to your website or app you should set up a testing environment to make sure it works in a way that is suitable for you and your users. As your start to setup your test environment we recommend that you start the process of setting up and verifying your business by creating a production account here. By the time you've finished testing and have your integration ready to go live you'll have completed the Wyre business verification and be ready to go! For more information. Create a test account Head over to https://www.testwyre.com/sign-up and start the sign-up process. You may enter dummy/fake information for all fields but please format it correctly.

Although you don't have to add real information for the test network format it properly such as: 123 Main St Apt 1, San Francisco, CA 94103

Entering information for Plaid on TestWyre:

1. For bank account info, click "Chase"

4. password: pass_good

Please wait for 1-2 minutes and the account will be automatically approved. You'll find access to your API keys on the dashboard found at https://www.testwyre.com/sign-in, please save your secret key somewhere where you can easily access it. You will not have another chance to reveal it. In order to get an account approved you still have to submit some information for every field.

Test Environment (API)

Once you've created your test account you'll be able to interact with Wyre's API just as you would on production. If you are new to using APIs we recommend using Postman to interact with Wyre. All crypto to crypto transactions will be automatically approved in the test environment.

All "Charges" or any transactions in Test Wyre through the API that involve the use of fiat currencies will not be automatically approved. Please reach out to a Wyre team member with the approximate amount of the charge as well as the time to get the transaction approved and sent.

Test Environment (Card Processing)

Wyre offers a test environment for the hosted debit card widget. The test environment can be accessed at pay.testwyre.com/purchase.

To test transactions please use these provided test debit cards. To ensure you have a successful transaction keep transactions around $1. Anything over $10 will fail automatically. Transactions on test Wyre using Wyre Checkout will be automatically approved. We would recommend using real info in the widget to ensure a successful transaction. Entering bogus information could cause the test transaction to fail
